So Grateful for You!

I hope everyone who celebrates had a lovely Thanksgiving yesterday. I just wanted to say THANK YOU for the outpouring of messages I received after my last email. I am so grateful for all of you and I’m always amazed at how positive this community is! Thank you for cooking from and sharing my books all these years. 🧡

Yesterday so many of you tagged me on Instagram to show me the Forest Feast dishes you’d made, which always makes me the happiest. Bay Potatoes, Apple Galette, Persimmon Salad and Roasted Red Carrots (below) were just a few that I saw.

We had a sweet little Thanksgiving in our new home and the only turkey we had on the table was this beaded sequin one by a designer I love, John Derian, for Target. Winnie named it TokTok and we will now be pulling it out every year :) It’s on sale today.

I also loved seeing your Thanksgiving tables adorned with my Garden Tablecloth (🥲!) which is selling like hotcakes this week thanks to the 40% off Black Friday sale.

A few fun things:

To Watch: The Pasta Queen’s new show on Prime — love her recipes (some vegetarian options!), her humor and all the gorgeous shots of Italy.

To Eat: Grossy Pelosi’s Cranberry Grilled Cheese — brilliant use of leftovers. (via NYT)

To Wear: I’ve been living in these Dansko boots (full disclosure, this is not exactly sponsored, but Dansko did gift me a pair of these recently and I love them so much! I’ve been wearing them daily and definitely recommend. They are like another pair of tan-colored shearling-lined boots I have 😉, but more polished looking and cute with jeans or skirts.) I wore them on a recent day trip to Taliesin, Frank Lloyd Wright’s estate in Wisconsin.

The Forest Feast cookbooks are all on sale like crazy for Black Friday, from $13-22 on Amazon. They make a great gift, and several of you have been pairing my kid’s cookbook with one of my kid’s aprons as a gift. Fun!
